Representatives on Tuesday served the Lackawanna County Tax Claim Bureau with Chapter 11 bankruptcy papers in a move that stops collection of about $400,000 in property taxes that Taylor Associates owes the county, school district and borough, department Director Ron Koldjeski said. The debt is among a total of $1.13 million for Taylor Commons that managing partner Stephen Zamias reported to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
